A Lithuanian Montessori School “Ziburelis” opened its doors in 1983 to welcome all children of Lithuanian descent. The school accepts children from 3 to 6 years of age. Classes are conducted in Lithuanian only. There are morning and afternoon programs. Children may attend either 5, 4, or 3 days per week. Important attention is paid to the individual, and independence and self-motivation are promoted.

“Pipiru Ratelis” operates in Lithuanian language for the youngest preschoolers. Children from age 1 to kindergarten age are accepted. The school activities are held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. An afternoon class operates Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Maironis Lithuanian School has a full course of study in the Lithuanian language, literature, Lithuanian history as well as folk songs and folk dancing. Classes are taught on Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Lithuanian language as well as in English. The school year starts the Saturday after Labor Day and ends the Saturday before Memorial Day. We have an enrollment of 500 students. Our school is currently full. If interested in registration for the next school year you need to fill out a form to be placed on a waiting list.
